Build the Shelter Fund!! - Please Read
Dear fans,
Since we opened in November of 2009, our goal has always been to have a shelter, so that we can help more animals.
We have taken in 98 animals since January of this year with only foster homes! We would like to help even more homeless pets, and we need your help. We found a wonderful place that we want to buy and we have half the down payment. We are asking for our fans and supporters to help us raise the other half. Please consider making a donation to us and help our dreams (and a lot of cats' and dogs' dreams) come true. All donations are tax deductible and each dollar brings us one step closer to opening Loving Heart Animal Shelter.
Thank you,
Sandy Fogarasi

About Loving Heart
The Loving Heart Animal Shelter is a private, independent, 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation governed by a volunteer Board of Directors composed of community members who are dedicated to animal welfare. We are funded primarily through private donations and service revenue. We are not controlled or funded by any statewide or national organization. Donations made to national animal welfare groups do not benefit our local pets. We are based near Lafayette, Indiana.
What We Do
Loving Heart Animal Shelter is a no-kill animal shelter and adoption organization.
Our shelter strives to create an environment which enhances awareness of the humane treatment of animals.
The mission of Loving Heart Animal Shelter is to rescue healthy and treatable dogs. This shall include, but is not limited to sick, injured and abused animals, strays, and owner relinquished animals. We will nurture and restore them to happy healthy lives in loving permanent homes.
How You Can Help - Foster Parents Needed
We are in need of foster families for homeless dogs. A foster family takes care of a homeless dog until it can be placed in a permanent home. It is a rewarding experience for the family and life-saving experience for the dog. Would you be willing to open your home to a homeless doggie in need? If so, please fill out the
